CROSSFIT KIDS

UNIT 22 is proud to announce the launch of its new CrossFit Kids programme, covering ages from 4 to 15 years old.

With today’s growing epidemic of obesity and inactivity in children around the globe, CrossFit Kids is a fun and varied alternative to fitness designed for children to help them become faster, stronger and fitter.

At a young age it is so important to introduce superior motor patterns for children that will stand the test of time, as they become young adults.

Learning to move and perform well has many benefits that will crossover for them outside of the gym environment such as:

  • Confidence in themselves
  • Confidence in social situations
  • Learning about their body and how they move
  • Correct movements
  • Reduced stress levels
  • Increase in mental alertness

CrossFit Kids focuses on many disciplines of fitness and no two sessions are the same. Keeping the sessions varied means interest levels will be high and they will maintain enthusiasm for fitness.

Membership and Classes

CrossFit Kids classes will be on Wednesday afternoons at 17:30, so you can drop your child in to the class and then do your own session with the adults.

A block of 10 classes is £48 per child, although there is a discount for buying multiple blocks if you wish to book in more than one child. Each class must be booked in advance as these sessions will be limited to 12 children per class.
